Stamp Coney, Fanta Se goes Hollywood (Wollyhood?) On Easter Monday 2008, Luminaria Films began filming Spoken Word, an uplifting story of a Chimayo native son who returns from San Francisco to care for his dying father. Based on the life and writings of nationally renowned Santa Fe poet, Joe Ray Sandoval, Spoken Word is a story about loyalty to family and healing the past. Combining poetry and narrative, this coming of age drama pushes the cinematic envelope by capturing the creative process of the poet. This film takes us inside the poet's mind, visualizing his creative process in cinematic form as he forges a new, even stronger voice and heals his relationship with his family, his community, and himself. The first scenes to be filmed will be by the old gate to the ropes course and other areas around camp. We are excited about this opportunity to build relationships in the community, and get our camp in pictures! As soon as we learn more. Soon you can see us on the big screen! and you can say, "I knew that pinon before it was famous."
